Getting to know Jazza
Q: What do you love most about using Copic?
A: I love how Copic Markers somehow bridges the gap between digital and traditional art. The level of polish and crisp color Copic bring to your artwork is out of this world.
Q: Use 5 words to describe yourself as an artist?
A: Energetic, earnest, cartoony, innovative and passionate.
Q: If you had to describe yourself as a Copic colour which colour would it be and why?
A: Y17, golden yellow. I'm positive, creative and flexible.
Q: What do you do when you get stuck in a creativity rut?
A: I do something ELSE creative. Sometimes the problem is staring at the same thing for too long, which in itself will suck your creativity dry. Sometimes a change of scenery is as good as a vacation. Draw something different, write a song, work on something else, even if for a short while, to get your juices flowing again.
Q: What is your favourite Copic colour combo?
A: I love E21, E11 and E13 as skin tones, I use and rely on them ALL the time.
Q: What inspires you?
A: Other artists making awesome stuff, and watching old-school animation, particularly the underrated ones like Treasure Planet, the Iron Giant and Atlantis.
